Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level IT Systems Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within our organization, with the potential to take over specific systems such as API Software and internal Web Portal tasks. The candidate will support various development projects and assist in maintaining and troubleshooting interconnected systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Functional Analytics Assistance: Assist with enhancing ERP system functionality and efficiency, managing interconnected systems, ensuring data integrity, handling large data uploads, generating reports, and supporting basic SQL queries and data analytics. Revise existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling.
- User Support and Setup: Assist users with multifactor authentication, password resets, user creation, and training on various systems. Provide quick response support and collaborate on larger tech issues. Assist users and support network computer storage management.
- Documentation: Document operational procedures, including screen grabs, creating PDFs, and organizing documents for future use and employee education. Help create processes to make data management more efficient.
- Physical System Setup: Set up physical computer systems with network connectivity.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a high level of technical expertise across various aspects of computing, continuously assessing and improving technical skills. Actively pursue training and development opportunities to expand knowledge and skills. As a technology expert within the company, perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- ERP Systems: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, integrating various business processes.
- SQL Programming: Basic knowledge of SQL programming.
- Data Structures: Basic understanding of databases, including MSQL, MYSQL, or similar systems. Proficient in managing database structures such as tables and fields.
- SAPB1 and Related Systems: Willingness to learn or experience using SAPB1 and the integrated data driven systems used in business flow.
- Networking: Basic understanding of networking and interconnected computer systems, including but not limited to web apps, API communications, and ERP systems.
- Microsoft Windows and 365 Software: Proficient in operating, troubleshooting, and setting up Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and other 365 programs.
- Data Integrity: Experience with mass data updates, quality control, system data errors, and maintaining data accuracy.
- Customer Service: Effectively manages tech support issues, responds promptly, meets commitments, maintains a friendly attitude, solicits feedback, communicates and teaches technology well, and handles multiple requests simultaneously.
- Cataloging: Skills in cataloging and organizing physical systems and user data.
- Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems quickly, gathers and analyzes information skillfully, develops alternative solutions, collaborates well in group problem-solving, and uses reason in difficult situations.
- Interpersonal Skill: The ideal candidate resolves conflicts without blame, maintains confidentiality, listens well, is open to feedback, handles successes and failures effectively, and is organized and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional programming languages such as JSON, HTLM, Python, JavaScript, or VBA.
- Graphic design skills for documentation purposes.
