Job Responsibilities:
As the Dance Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our program. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching Excellence: Delivering high-quality dance instruction across multiple styles, inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
- Program Development: Developing and implementing strategic plans to grow and enhance our dance program, ensuring it remains innovative, relevant, and competitive.
- Faculty Leadership: Managing and leading a team of talented dance instructors, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their professional growth.
- Curriculum Enhancement: Regularly updating and refining the dance curriculum to align with industry standards and cater to the evolving needs of our students.
- Performance Team Director: Overseeing and directing the performance teams, coordinating rehearsals, and ensuring exceptional performance experiences for participants.
- Cultural Maintenance: Upholding and promoting a positive and inclusive dance culture, fostering an environment of respect, teamwork, and creativity.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Dance or Musical Theatre, providing a strong foundation in dance theory, technique, and choreography.
- Proven experience in dance program management or a related leadership position, demonstrating your ability to drive growth and excellence.
- Expertise in multiple dance styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip hop, enabling you to provide comprehensive instruction and guidance to students and faculty.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire both students and faculty members.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities, ensuring smooth operations and efficient management of the dance program.
- Passion for dance education, a commitment to ongoing learning, and a deep understanding of the importance of maintaining a positive and inclusive dance culture.
