We are searching for a Certified Nursing assistant with their Certified Medication Aide endorsement to join our team. Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Medicine Aide effectively and efficiently administers medications and treatments. He/she will function within the standards of practice per state regulations.
Shift: All
Pay: $23.00 to $25.00
Signing Bonus: $3500
- Receives report at the beginning of shift with nurses;
- Reports observations concerning patient condition, emergency situations or
difficulties with medications to the supervising nurse; - Prepares and administers routine and PRN medications as prescribed by the
physician; - Documents administration of medications per policies;
- Maintains medication supply and cleans and restocks medicine carts and medicine
room as needed; - Notifies pharmacy of new medication orders and refills;
- Performs accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy;
- Uses Point Click Care according to the Business Process, if applicable
- Attends re-certification courses per state requirements and renews CMA license
timely; - Performs Certified Nursing Assistant duties as needed and as defined in the
Certified Nursing Assistant job description; - Performs other duties as requested.
