Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and a passion for marine technology. This role involves assembling, maintaining, and repairing various marine equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The Marine Technician will work closely with customers to provide exceptional service and support, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and rig marine equipment according to specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain and repair engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical components of marine vessels.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.
  • Provide technical expertise during customer consultations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on marine equipment to enhance longevity and performance.
  • Document all service activities accurately in compliance with company protocols.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical skills with experience in marine technology or related fields.
  • Ability to rig and assemble various marine systems effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments and repairs.
  • Strong background with electrical systems such as.. Navigational equipment, Lighting, DC and AC electrical, Solar, Battery technology and reading wiring diagrams.

Applicants will be required to travel as this is a mobile position. Applicants should have there own tools with the exception of some diagnostic and specialty tools Preference and top pay given to the most experienced applicants.
