Ballerina Farm is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure smooth workflow across inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
This role requires strong leadership and team management skills, as well as proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout to optimize space and streamline operations.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, coach, and mentor warehouse staff to achieve productivity and performance targets.
- Assist with scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate inventory for order fulfillment.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and damage.
Order Fulfillment:
- Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
- Address and resolve issues related to delayed or incorrect shipments.
- Monitor order tracking and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure the warehouse is compliant with company policies and local regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
- Train staff on proper use of warehouse equipment and PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts).
