Job Description
The Food & Director is a dynamic and experienced operator who will oversee all aspects of our restaurant, bar, coffee bar, and private catering events. This individual will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experience, driving revenue growth, managing costs, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a keen eye for detail, and a passion for promoting physical activity and healthy living.
Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar, coffee bar, and catering services to ensure highquality service and efficiency.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain inventory control, manage ordering, and oversee stock levels for all F&B outlets.
- Work with local beverage distributors and beverage branding representatives providing resources to develop a curated cocktail program.
- Recruit, train, and mentor frontofhouse and backofhouse staff to maintain a highperformance team.
- Manage labor, schedule F&B staff and ensure accuracy of biweekly payroll.
Conduct regular pre-service staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and expectations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage presentation, quality, and service.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop creative initiatives to enhance the dining and beverage experience.
- Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotions to maximize revenue across all outlets.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns that increase customer engagement and sales.
- Oversee catering event execution, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with the event sales manager to tailor menus and event services to meet our guests’ needs.
- Coordinate logistics, staffing, and operations for all onsite catered events.
- Work closely with all departments to assist in various tasks and ensure seamless operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- 35 years as a Food & Beverage Manager/Director, Restaurant Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant, bar, and catering operations.
- Experience purchasing from PLCB.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and drive profitability.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering toptier service.
- Experience with POS systems and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of food safety and liquor laws.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Background checks, RAMP and Serve Safe Certified.
