Video and Podcast Editor for Balloon Artisan - Calling all creative and ambitious video pros.

Balloon Artisan is transforming the event industry across the country. Since September of 2022 we have grown from a humble, single location balloon decorating company into the world’s largest balloon decorating company that is now operating in 25 states. Our company is on fire (in the best of ways of course) and we need an unbelievably ambitious Video Pro to team up with us for the ride of a lifetime.

In this role, you’ll be working alongside our CEO (who is a world-class marketer) to create the most awe-inspiring and captivating content to have ever graced the internet.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for creating an obscene amount of video content. Here's a bit of what you can expect to be editing/creating each month.

·      10 Long Form Video Podcast Episodes

·      3-4 Pieces of short form video content repurposed from each piece of long form content.

·      ~15 Videos showcasing Balloon Artisan’s projects

·      Testimonial videos

·      Misc Video Ads as needed

·      You will then need to post the videos on the respective platforms (Youtube, IG, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc)

This position is a hybrid position where most of your work will be done remotely but you may need to occasionally film in-person in Draper, UT.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves

-      Freaking amazing video editing superpowers

-      A mastery of core video editing software

-      Strong Storyboarding (but not waterboarding) skills

-      Extensive experience with A/B Testing Video Content

-      Experience analyzing video analytics to improve video content

-      Capable of self-guided work

-      Impeccable atention to detail

-      Did you notice we spelled atention incorrectly?

-      Creative and able to think outside the box.

-      Enthusiastic about life and being part of a larger vision.

-      Basic proficiency in graphic design

-      Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive.

Nice-To-Haves

-      Experience filming and capturing in-person

-      Experience editing video podcasts

Job Schedule:

Your typical workweek will be 40-45 hours. Generally you’ll be working during the 8 AM MST – 5 PM MST / Mon-Fri timeframe but may need to work outside of those hours from time to time.

Job Details:

In full transparency, this is our first time hiring an in-house video editor so we aren’t sure what the market rate is. We were thinking around $65k-$75k but we are happy to discuss this with you.
