The Role

Ensures assets of the Company are properly safeguarded in conjunction with Company policy and procedures and all property audit plans for responsible regions and assigned audit plans are complete annually.

Responsibilities

• Identify key areas of risk and appropriate coverage for auditees.
• Review Internal Controls for compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
• Assist in performing audits of operational activities to identify compliance of Internal Controls and Regulations and operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Draft recommendations and audit reports for management.
• Notifies Internal Audit Management of any gaming violations noted.
• Assist with special projects or consulting engagements concerning significant company issues as directed.
• Completes audit files with working papers referenced to the audit programs.
• Assist external Auditors in performing testing of Financial Statements and Internal Control and Regulatory adherence as directed.
• Perform observations during all operational shifts, to include weekends, as directed.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Assist Internal Audit Management in performing duties and responsibilities associated with the Missouri Gaming Commission Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• CPA or CIA certification preferred but not required.
• One to three years’ experience in audit testing, accounting, auditing, and information technology audits, is preferred.
• Gaming industry experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply internal audit methodologies, technologies, and tools.
• Excellent verbal communication and computer literacy skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with people at all levels within the organization.
• Report writing and superior documentation skills. Ability to draft comprehensible reports on complex issues in a concise manner.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% with overnight stays.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Missouri Gaming Commission and other jurisdictions, as required.

Target Salary Range: (Post $ 50,000- $ 60,000)
