Job Summary:
As a Lead Housekeeping Attendant, you will maintain a clean, neat, and orderly appearance in the hotel. Promote Bally's DNA and culture through actions and positive attitude. This position's starting wage is $17.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
- Assist in monitoring staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
- Assist with repairs and preventive maintenance tasks and projects as assigned.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special cleaning projects.
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms
- Use all cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure all chemicals are labeled and signage is posted.
- Answer all calls promptly and professionally.
- Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members.
- Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's and departmental management.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Appropriate and safe use of all housekeeping tools and equipment, including, but not limited to, including vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, buffer, hand tools, shop vac, and safety equipment.
- Familiarity with required OSHA standards and all safety guidelines.
- Appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
- Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Read, write, and understand simple instructions.
- Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
- Understand and adhere to all applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
- Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
Physical Requirements:
- Required to walk and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Reach with hands and arms; stoop, crouch, kneel, and bend; talk and hear
- Lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, including overhead lifting
