Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (“Queen”), the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one of which will be an additional state that expands Bally’s jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees, and operations that currently include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms to the Bally’s portfolio. Bally’s will also become the successor of Queen’s significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role:
As an EVS Heavy Duty Cleaner at Bally’s, you will play a huge role in the welcoming experience of our guests by creating and maintaining a comfortable, clean, and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
• Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
• Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
• Adhere to policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, internal controls, Company policies and procedures, and organizational goals
• Providing additional support and guidance to Attendants – EVS team members as needed
• Assist with training and developing team members
• Perform outdoor deep cleaning tasks and special outdoor cleaning projects as assigned
• Remove trash and debris from front and back of house areas as well as outside areas
• Ensure all signs, posts, and chain fences are straight and secure, and follow department guidelines to appropriately and timely report any repairs as needed
• Maintain and report any malfunction of machinery and equipment as needed
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, including using personal protective equipment when required
• Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members
• Make suggestions for improvements in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction and reducing costs
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
• High school or equivalent is required
• Must have two years of experience in building and grounds maintenance or outdoor EVS experience
• Must have familiarity with OSHA standards
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be reliable
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holiday
