What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host Person - Food Sportsbook and Bar position at Bally's?
· Welcomes each guest with a smile and personalized greeting. · Acknowledges each guest as they are leaving with genuine appreciation. · Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance. · Maintains a businesslike, professional attitude at all items. · Has a working knowledge of the menu, promotions, special events, and other pertinent information. · Seats guests in such a manner that they receive the best service possible. · Answers telephone inquiries as per company policies. · Helps bussers set and clear tables. · Contributes to general housekeeping in such areas as the floor in foyer; windows/glass in front; host stand area; maintenance checklist; menus and menu covers. · Knowledgeable of the company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures. · Must be able to lift to 25 lbs.; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs. · Ability to learn and utilize computerized reservation/seating/paging system. Must be able to learn and operate a Point-of-Sale system. · Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7 hours). · Must be able to understand and communicate in English. · Comply fully with the company’s safety policies and procedures. · Always follow the Company Service Standards model. · Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends. |
