Job Summary:
As Main Banker-Cage-You are responsible for safeguarding casino bankroll, responsible for all cash, chips and negotiable instruments that flow through the Casino. This position's starting wage is $18.00.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains a service standard that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service.
- Count all bank inventory – currency/chips/U.S. Coin prior to performing any cash transactions.
- Prepare daily deposits
- Verify all cash drops – F&B Banks/table games/EGD
- Responsible for Sensitive Key Log for an assigned shift.
- Maintains hard copy of Marker files
- May perform all duties of a Cage Cashier
- Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures
- Knowledgeable of all promotions and events
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to account for large sums of currency
- Strong time management skills
Physical Requirements:
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
- Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift
- Requires manual dexterity to operate a keyboard
- Must be able to read, speak, and correspond in the English language
- Respond to visual and aural cues
