Stock/Sales Associate
We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our team and provide the perfect Bally experience for every customer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The FT Stock Associate/Sales Consultant is responsible for managing the movement of inventory at company and customer level. Ensuring the security of the inventory in order to prevent shortages. You will also be using your knowledge of company products or experiences to connect with clients to generate sales. Duties includes assisting Store Manager in maintaining store for smooth day to day operations, answering questions about our products, contacting and following up with prospect clients to continue relationships, give the best Bally Experience on the selling floor, and collaborate with colleagues.
DAILY TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acknowledge the individual objectives and contribute to the daily achievement of store objectives: “Key Performance Indicators” (KPI) Sales target, IPT/ AVT/ Transactions, CCI new, etc.
- Guarantee the application of the “Bally Ceremonies and Retail Excellence training” tools, being a host and ambassador of the brand.
- Participate to the daily running of the store:
- Visual Merchandising, quality of the window, counters and furniture presentation
- Controlling the cleanliness of the store
- Monitor and replenishment of the stock and maintenance of presented products
- Support of administrative duties (cashing up, inventories, etc)
- Contribute towards a safe working environment by reporting any maintenance or repairs required to management
- Comply with all company fire, health & safety regulations
- Follow all store policies and procedures.
- May have responsibility for opening/closing the store as needed
- Adhere to loss prevention standards
CLIENTELE
- Proactively consolidate and develop CRM activity and Client portfolio, maintaining and actively reviewing personal client book and till database
- Follow-through with clients concerns, inquiries; maintain customer correspondence to build clientele and enhance relationships and drive business.
- Acknowledge of the competition and market price/positioning
- Proficient and accurate use of POS system and other software as required, updating customer database.
- Assist with special requests, which include but are not limited to repairs, special orders, returns, etc.
Inventory Control
- Checks merchandise and supply deliveries for accuracy, verifying that quantities received match bills of lading, purchase orders and other Bally documentation; ie: transfers and UDC shipments
- After receiving incoming shipments, the stock associate maintains ongoing and proactive communication management about new arrivals, order overages and shortages, and any outstanding deliveries issues and/or discrepancies.
- Researches and reports all inventory shortages, overages, and damages
- Works efficiently within Bally Back Office application
- Ensure a world class shopping experience through effective back house operations including but not limited to: timely shipping, proper packaging, and tracking of merchandise to clients
- Ensure all shipments, transfers, and supplies are processed in a timely matter
- Participates in periodic inventory audits and monthly gender counts and alerts management to any overages/shortages that occur during monthly counts.
- Performs weekly/monthly Gender checks to control inventory discrepanciesReceive merchandise in accordance with Bally Policies and Procedures to ensure the accuracy and protection of all inventory
- Process shipments and transfers of merchandise to other stores and the warehouse in a timely manner
- Process inventory adjustments accurately and efficiently
- Ensure inventory is up to date with monthly cycle counts
- Participate in store Stock Takes
- Ensure all merchandise is ticketed correctly and scans properly
STORE OPERATIONS
- Monitors all wrapping and packing supply inventory and places orders when needed
- Monitors all in house supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, windex and places orders when needed
- Partners with Store Management Team on Loss Prevention Awareness within the store
- Assists Store Manager in ensuring that merchandise is available for replenishment on the sales floor and for the sales staff
- Assists Store Manager in maintaining store appearance according to Bally standards (i.e., changing light bulbs, dusting, relocating fixtures, cleaning windows, etc.)
- Assists Sales Associates in quickly locating inventory
- Make hand deliveries to clients, if required
- Assists with cashier duties when store is busy
- Engages with Customers on the Selling floor
- Maintains knowledge of merchandise sold.
- Able to answer the store phone and answer any customer service questions and/or issues
- Assists with daily procedures of opening and closing the store
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year prior experience in similar role in a luxury retail environment
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment to provide excellent service
- Basic Retail Operations Knowledge including: customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention
- Basic IT Knowledge
- Filing of all paperwork UPS, incoming stock from both UDC and stores to control inventory
- Proactive, Self-Starter
- Strong Follow up skills
