OVERVIEW :
The Assistant Store Manager ensures customer satisfaction, supports sales staff to drive sales, maximizes productivity and compliance with company procedures within the Balmain boutique. This individual is a Brand Ambassador who, along with accomplishing the business goals of the retail operation, represents Balmain with all external parties in the local market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
- Achieve and exceed goals through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers and maintaining and building productive long-term relationships with existing customers
- Manage daily operational tasks according to Balmain standards including selling, service, store maintenance
- Develop product knowledge skills and remain aware of current collections that are in-store and on-line; cascade and train information to the broader team
- Support an environment of teamwork, trust and collaboration with peers, customers and supervisors
- Creates an environment in which everyone strives for excellence. Is able to motivate different types of people and empowers others carrying out their goals
- Evaluate performance of all team members and provide consistent coaching where service and selling are top priorities; create and modify action plans for the continuous development of staff
- Demonstrate strong business acumen; strategically forecasts, plans and budgets to the needs of the business (i.e. payrolls, staffing, etc.)
- Serve as a leader within the team when store director is not present or unavailable. Is able to lead and unite the team to accomplish goals within timelines
- Responsible for the team’s compliance for all company policies, procedures, security guidelines and expense control
- Responsible for creating visual displays that correlates with corporate guidelines in partnership with Visual Merchandising department
