JOB SUMMARY
The Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for ensuring all outbound fulfillment orders are accurately and efficiently shipped out each day to our customers while supporting the warehouse staff and other departments within a high-volume, fast-paced working environment. This team member will be picking, packimng and shipping orders as well as performing general warehouse duties including warehouse cleanup. THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION**************
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow proper picking and packaging procedures to ensure full order accuracy.
- Electronically verify accuracy of orders with shipping software using Ipads, scanners, and computers.
- Properly use boxes, shipping mailers and other materials to package orders
- Utilize shipping system to generate shipping labels.
- Sort packages and contribute on ways to optimize warehousing procedures and build the team.
- Actively participate and contribute ways to optomize warehousing procedures, and buukd up the team.
- Report any issues to the team lead/supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and clear workplace.
- Other tasks as required to meet team goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6-12 months or prior fulfillment or similar experience in a distribution, warehouse or other inventory handling environment
- Basic computer skills (i.e. persomal computers, printers, email)
- Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocol.
- Actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members
- Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
- Maintain individual productivity and quality standards accordng to depratment requirements.
- Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
Able to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time.
