Baltimore Country Club is looking to hire Food Runners. This Position is responsible for interacting closely with the Servers to create an efficient dining experience for members and guests. This position requires a candidate who works well in a team, has an outgoing personality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is over 3,200 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FOOD RUNNER
As a Food Runner, you are an integral part of the Food and Beverage team with the primary goal of creating a positive and memorable experience for members and guests. Focusing on detail while serving food, asking members and guests how they are doing, greeting them with a smile, and going above and beyond to accommodate their requests is what separates Baltimore Country Club from other organizations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, WORKING CONDITIONS AND OTHER FACTORS:
- Bussing or Runner experience preferred, country club experience is a plus
- Professional appearance and attitude with a willingness to learn is an absolute must
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift 25-50lbs
- Knowledge or food, beer, wine and spirits is a plus
- Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills
- Banquet experience is a plus
- Minimum hiring age is 16 years old
- Must have year round, flexible availability
