Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN MERCHANDISER MANAGER
The Merchandise Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail operations within the Golf Pro Shop, including product selection, inventory management, merchandising displays, and sales strategies. This role ensures an exceptional shopping experience for Members and Guests by maintaining a well-stocked, visually appealing, and profitable retail space. The manager collaborates with vendors, tracks sales trends, and trains staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have previous merchandising experience; exceptional customer service, phone, and interpersonal skills; must be well organized with strong attention to detail; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, as well general computer knowledge.
