ABOUT BALTIMORE COUNTRY CLUB
Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is over 3,200 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. We are all about the simple truth and doing what is right, not what is easy.
A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A POOL CAFE ATTENDANT
This position is in our pool area which is located at our Five Farms location in Lutherville, Maryland. The pool cafe is responsible for providing food and beverage services to our members and their guests. This includes duties such as, taking orders, serving food/drinks, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area in a personable, courteous and professional manner. You will be required to maintain good safety habits. This is a seasonal position that begins at the end of May and ends Labor Day weekend.
*There are both full-time and part-time positions available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The minimum age for this position is 16 years old
- You must have reliable transportation
- Must have availability between Memorial Day (end of May) and Labor Day Weekend (Beginning of September)
- Must work well in a team setting
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, comfortable talking to anyone of any level and stature
- Must be organized and have great time management skills
- Ability to quickly deliver quality product while under pressure
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Ability to listen effectively, to speak and write English clearly
