ABOUT BALTIMORE COUNTRY CLUB

Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is over 3,300 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SUMMER CAMP SUPERVISOR

The Camp Supervisor is responsible for the safety, learning, and entertainment of children ages 4-12 years old attending the Club's summer camp. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of the 6-week program. You will be required to treat children and counselors with dignity and respect, meeting the needs of individuals with awareness of their interests, special talents and needs, cultural background, and individual learning styles. The Supervisor will oversee 4-5 staff members throughout the day and maintain their daily schedules. This position requires communication with the Events team to process charges, assisting with tracking the camper's registration, and answering questions from members. Perks of this position include participation in activities like drawing, dancing, jumping, and running. The Supervisor will be responsible for lunch orders and being aware of any allergies. Campers can be dropped off as early as 8:30am and leave as late as 5:00pm. BCC summer camp includes many fun activities and lessons for Golf and Tennis provided by our sports professionals. This position requires you to be present during all 6 camp sessions, which are listed below.

June 23-27 Sports Camp

July 14-18 Creative Camp

July 21-25 STEM Camp

July 28- August 1 Sports Camp

August 18-22 Creative Camp

August 25-29 Sports Camp

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have proven experience in developing, performing, and overseeing children's events
• Extremely detail oriented
• Ability to work in a high paced, dynamic environment and work with a high sense of urgency
• Excellent skills in organization, prioritizing tasks, and time-management
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to be creative and accepting of challenges
• Proficient and working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
• Ability to manage groups of people, including camp counselors and camp participants
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
• Ability to use event and Club management software systems
• Ability to multi-task, switching from task to task, performing overlapping duties without making errors or missing details
• Project management skills and demonstrated flexibility
• A Bachelor's degree is desirable
• Must have an interest/passion in children's events
• Have CPR and First Aid Certifications
