About the Program
The Summer Youth Employment Program provides a six-week summer employment program for Baltimore County youth, ages 14-21, to provide real-world work experience. The program allows youth to work for 25 hours per week for six weeks. Summer youth workers will receive valuable paid work experiences and employable training skills at private and public sector worksites. The youth will learn financial literacy related to understanding a variety of important financial skills and concepts.
Baltimore County's Department of Economic and Workforce Development is accepting 500 applications and plans to offer employment opportunities to at least 200 youth working with 100 employers.
Schedule: Up to 25 hours per week. Starting Monday June 30th to Friday August 8th.Baltimore County youth ages 14-21 are encouraged to submit an application online and attach all the required documents as outlined in the application.
