Position Summary:
The Baltimore Orioles are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Director, Game Presentation to lead the strategy, development, and execution of all in-game entertainment and presentation elements at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. This role is pivotal in creating an engaging and memorable fan experience that reflects the Orioles' brand and enhances the overall atmosphere during games and events. This person will also play a large part in the 2026 planned renovations that include a new state-of-the art videoboard and sound system, while maintaining the ballpark’s iconic charm. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of live event production, a passion for baseball, and a proven track record in game presentation within professional sports.
Key Responsibilities:
Game Presentation Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive game presentation strategy that aligns with the Orioles' brand identity and enhances the fan experience.
- Oversee all aspects of in-game entertainment, including pre-game ceremonies, in-game promotions, video board content, music selection, mascot performances, and post-game events.
- Serve as the primary “game caller,” coordinating all elements of the show and ensuring seamless execution during live events.
Strategic Integration of New Technologies:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to incorporate the new videoboard and sound system into game presentations, aligning with the Orioles' brand and enhancing fan engagement.
- Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to understand the capabilities of the new systems and optimize their use during events.
Content Creation & Integration:
- Collaborate with the Brand & Content team to produce engaging multimedia content for in-game use, ensuring consistency with the Orioles' brand standards.
- Integrate sponsorship activations into the game presentation in a manner that enhances the fan experience and meets partner objectives.
Staff Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff, including game day entertainment personnel, hosts, DJs, and production crew.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the Game Presentation team.
Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Coordination:
- Work closely with departments such as Corporate Partnerships, Community Relations, and Baseball Operations to ensure cohesive messaging and integration of initiatives into the game presentation.
- Coordinate with the Ballpark Operations and the Maryland Stadium Authority teams to ensure all technical aspects of game presentation are functioning optimally.
Budgeting & Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the Game Presentation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Oversee the maintenance and procurement of game presentation equipment and technology.
Fan Engagement & Experience Enhancement:
- Continuously seek innovative ways to enhance the in-game experience, incorporating fan feedback and industry best practices.
- Monitor and analyze fan engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of game presentation elements and make data-driven improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in game presentation, live event production, or related roles within professional or collegiate sports.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of baseball culture and the nuances of the sport's fan engagement.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in game production software and familiarity with video board operations, lighting, and sound systems.
- Creative thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional live entertainment experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the baseball schedule.

The anticipated salary for this role is $110,000-$140,000 annually plus bonus eligibility depending on experience.
