As a Senior Network Engineer at BAM, you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain a multi-vendor global trading network
- Work closely with technology and investment teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions that align with business needs
- Develop capabilities to manage the network at scale through automation and comprehensive monitoring
- Perform network capacity planning to ensure network scales to meet the demands of the business
- Define and implement network standards and best practices
- Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting network issues
- Participate in a 24/7 on call rotation and out of hours network maintenance

To be considered a good technical fit, you must have:
- Expert knowledge of data center network architectures and topologies in a Cisco or Arista environment
- Expert knowledge of network protocols, including VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, PIM, and IGMP
- Experience in a HFT high-throughput, low-latency trading environment
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting multicast market data
- Experience managing a L1 switching environment
- Experience managing Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong knowledge of Python and network automation
- Strong knowledge of networking in public clouds, including AWS and Azure
- Strong knowledge of time synchronization using PTP and NTP
- The ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
