Role Overview
The Data Platform team is looking for a software engineer to help us build a state-of-the-art Research & Data Delivery Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering/architecture/database skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
In this role, you will:
- Develop, maintain, and support a Research & Data Delivery Platform
- Develop a proprietary research-focused Security Master
- Design and architect distributed data systems
- Test code and actively participate review code reviews
- Create standards and evangelize best practices
- Leverage AWS services for logging, monitoring, data storage, and more
- Troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years development experience with Python
- 3 years of experience with SQL databases
- 2 years of experience developing distributed systems
- 2 years of experience with AWS development
- Strong verbal and written communications
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise with financial reference data and/or building a Security Master
- Expertise with traditional financial aggregators (e.g. FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.)
- Expertise with Linux operating systems
With respect to NY and CA based applicants, the starting base pay range for this role is between $150000 and $200000 annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, business needs and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
