Job Summary :
As a Kdb / q developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance time-series databases and applications using Kdb and the q programming language. You will work closely with data analysts, quants, and other developers to implement efficient data solutions that support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain Kdb databases and q scripts to support real-time and historical data processing and analytics across different asset classes, including FX, futures, global equities and central liquidity book.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
- Optimize and tune Kdb systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
- Create and maintain documentation for database structures, processes, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kdb systems and applications.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Kdb and q programming to ensure best practices are followed.
