This QA Engineer position plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of our applications by working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures.
- Identify and report bugs, providing feedback on usability.
- Participate in daily scrums and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
- Collaborate with users to understand business requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, coaching the team on new techniques.
- Assess risks proactively and help identify issues early.
- Improve developer testing processes and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
- Write test automation code and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years of experience in software QA.
- Experience working with major E/CTRM vendor software platforms.
- Commodities financial/physical trading environment experience.
- Understanding of exchange-traded and OTC commodities products.
- Programming experience, preferably with Python/C#.
- Version control experience, such as Git/TFS/Mercurial/SVN.
- Test automation experience and interest in integrating tests with CI processes.
