- Performs necessary care for individuals with intellectual disabilities, including but not limited to feeding, bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assists residents in all areas of self-help skills, including but not limited to: hygiene, grooming, dressing, eating, safety, social behavior, combing and washing hair, shaving, brushing teeth, clothing selection, and other deficit areas.
- Assists other staff in the transportation, supervision, and maintenance of residents' safety during outside activities, to include both on-campus and off-campus activities.
- Launders, counts, and folds clients' linens and clothing; including ironing and caring for residents' clothing.
- Escorts residents to and from programs, appointments, church and recreational activities.
- Observes residents and reports to supervisory or nursing staff any physical or mental irregularity.
- Studies and becomes familiar with current program objectives for residents under care and aids in achieving these objectives.
- Performs minor repairs of resident's clothing.
- Assists in the maintenance of dietary programs for assigned residents.
- Performs documentation of training and behavior activities, resident accountability -i.e. duties, unusual events, accidents and assigned areas requiring documentation.
- Performs other related duties.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
