What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Assistant Preschool Ellicott City position at Bambini Montessori Academy - Ellicot City?
We are seeking a Infant Teacher's Assistant to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.
Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 45 hours of Child Growth and Development
- 45 hours in Preschool Curriculum
- 45 hours Infant- Toddler Certificate
- Minimum of one year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility or 30 college credits
- Demonstrated knowledge of various stages of social, emotional and intellectual development
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach carry, lift 50 lbs.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field (preferred)
