We are looking for a friendly, energetic, quick thinking and self motivated individual to join our Front Of House Bamboo Crew!

Applicants for this position will be responsible for providing the best experience possible to our customers, both dining in and taking out, as well as assisting our delivery partners in executing a seamless experience. The ideal candidate for this position is a team player who is flexible with their schedule, has a can do attitude in the work place, and is a quick study who can anticipate what the customer needs before they ask. This position is an excellent fit for someone who does well learning through observation and hands on experience, and they must be able to take constructive feedback with an open mind. Our atmosphere is fast paced and demanding, and requires the ability to think on your feet. This position will require a food handlers certification test within 60 days of being hired and has a 30 day probation period after hiring.

Second interviews for this position are done as a working interview, details will be discussed during the interview process. Please DO NOT call about this position, it will take us a while to review applicants and schedule interviews.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in a variety of situations.
• Serve food and beverages to customers per our standards.
• Make food and drink recommendations to customers, take orders accurately and correctly in person/over the phone, and make product to procedure.
• Fry and make some minor appetizers at the fry station, check for quality, quantity, accuracy.
• Handle customer complaints with grace and empathy.
• Monitor and improve customer satisfaction actively.
• Take, and effectively communicate dine in and take out food orders to the kitchen.
• Carefully and accurately pack to go orders with the guest in mind.
• Use proper manners with guests to build regular business.
• Be aware of health codes, general food safety and maintain general standards of cleanliness.
• Is able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40lbs.
• Work with all staff to achieve the restaurant's goals.
• Contribute positively to the environment of the restaurant.
• Have a good memory for the names of regular customers, make a point to learn about guests.
• Have a 'can do' attitude in challenging situations and learn to handle situations with good humor.
• Communicates with a good tone and is able to be heard and communicate effectively and quickly in loud and noisy environments.
• Have excellent communication skills in all forms.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.70 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
