What are the responsibilities and job description for the Copywriter position at BambooHR?
Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.
Essential Job Duties
As a Copywriter on the Brand team, you'll craft compelling copy that captures our voice and drives engagement across a variety of channels. Your words will help shape how we connect with our audience.
As part of a collaborative team, you'll partner with designers, video producers, marketers, and other stakeholders to create campaigns that deliver results. You'll have the opportunity to brainstorm big ideas, edit and refine content, and ensure all messaging is on-brand and impactful.
You will:
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop original creative concepts that move the business forward.
- Present and pitch ideas to leadership.
- Write engaging copy for marketing campaigns, advertisements, social media, email, and more.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor messaging to inform your work.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- 2 years of copywriting experience (agency or in-house creative team preferred).
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative ideas and diverse copywriting skills.
- Ability to think conceptually and solve creative problems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proven ability to manage time and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
