Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
- Business Case Development & Executive Engagement: Build tailored, data-driven business cases and engage executive sponsors to align payroll solutions with customer goals and challenges.
- Gain Commitment & Manage Customer Objections: Guide customers through decision-making stages, securing their commitment and overcoming objections through preparation and proactive solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Deal Support:Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to support deal progression and ensure seamless execution of customer solutions.
- Product Knowledge & Competitor Awareness: Master payroll service offerings, stay up-to-date with industry trends, and leverage insights to defend against competitors and drive market share.
- Negotiation & Customer Lifecycle Management: Lead strategic negotiations, manage the customer lifecycle from onboarding to business reviews, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities to maximize customer value.
- Opportunity Qualification & Stakeholder Engagement: Qualify leads, build rapport with decision-makers, and tailor sales approaches to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
What You'll Need to Get the Job Done
- 1-2 years of Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales, particularly in account management or business development.
- Consultative Selling: Experience in understanding customer needs and developing tailored solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams or projects.
- Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Experience in managing strategic negotiations and overcoming customer objections.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
