Please Note : This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.

Essential Job Duties

We're looking for a Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of internal tools and AI-driven solutions that empower our customer success, sales, and product teams. You'll play a key role in shaping how AI augments our internal tools to improve efficiency and customer interactions.

As the Product Manager for this space, you'll oversee our internal tools and collaborate with our AI team to develop innovative features that enhance support and sales operations. You'll lead discovery work on data-driven solutions, partner with engineering and design, and iterate on strategy to create impactful, AI-powered experiences. Experience building AI-enabled products is a strong plus.

You will :

Deeply understand the challenges and opportunities within internal tooling and AI by conducting research and engaging with stakeholders.
Clearly define and frame both internal and external customers' challenges for your team while prioritizing opportunities for improvement.
Consistently deliver high-value solutions aimed at improving user behavior and outcomes for our customers and BambooHR.
Strategically manage the product roadmap by capturing input from various sources, comprehending and prioritizing this input, and ensuring your team is focused on the most impactful projects.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in Customer Success and Sales to identify pain points and optimize internal tools for better customer interactions.
Possess the ability to comprehend and communicate technical requirements effectively. Transform these requirements into actionable specifications for your engineering team.
Collaborate with your team to think creatively, envisioning future solutions that effectively address identified challenges and improve our competitive positioning.
Define solution scopes to their most compact and coherent state, allowing for early customer deployment.
Regularly assess the effectiveness of your solutions through quantitative and qualitative measures to ensure they successfully address the identified challenges.
Take full responsibility for the quality and excellence of the data and analytics product areas your team manages.
Inspire and lead a team of dedicated, intelligent professionals to achieve their career best, fostering a culture of excellence.

What will you be doing?

Deeply know the problems and opportunities that you're tackling through research and regular interaction with customers and internal stakeholders; define and frame those problems for the team and prioritize the opportunities.

Ship high-value solutions constantly in order to change people's behavior for the better, creating better outcomes for our customers and BambooHR

Capture work from a wide range of inputs, and understand and prioritize this work so your team is always working on the most impactful projects

Be able to understand and educate others on technical requirements and be able to turn those requirements into deliverable specifications for engineers

Collaborate with your team in thinking big to imagine future solutions that solve these problems

Scope these solutions to their smallest coherent state to ship to customers as early as you can

Constantly evaluate if your solutions have solved the problem through quantitative and qualitative measures

Own and maintain the quality of the product areas your team is responsible for and help shape the strategy and vision

Motivate a group of committed, intelligent people to do the best work of their careers

3 years experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of shipping impactful products

You strive for world-class software in every release.

Ideally, you have a strong experience working with Design and UX, as it's essential you're able to think deeply about product design decisions and have an understanding of how to create simple user interfaces

You can clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them. You're comfortable making decisions without consensus. You can help others make decisions by being persuasive

You can work in deep collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers from discovery all the way to delivery of experiences for customers

You have deep experience working with qualitative customer insights and quantitative customer data to inform decisions

You're entrepreneurial; you don't need direction; you're self-driven and organized

You're able to switch between thinking creatively and analytically
