- Collaborate with stakeholders to define program scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while fostering a collaborative environment, encouraging cross-functional teamwork, knowledge sharing, and effective communication.
- Develop detailed program plans, including schedules, resource allocation, budget estimates, and risk assessments.
- Identify and manage initiative dependencies, critical paths, and potential bottlenecks and risks, developing contingency plans and providing timely resolutions to maintain initiative momentum.
- Collect, analyze, and track metrics and factors impacting technical contributor/developer productivity and satisfaction.
- Collaborate across AI & engineering to enhance research & software development processes.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the AI team and across other departments
- Demonstrate expertise in running AI projects across multiple departments (Engineering, Training, Sales, etc).
- Understand the importance of ethical AI and compliance with regulations to ensure AI projects align with these ethical standards and legal requirements.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- 8 years of proven experience in program management, with a track record of successfully managing multiple technical initiatives simultaneously.
- Practical understanding, passion, and demonstrated skill in applying AI, machine learning, and data science to business problems and customer-facing products.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams through influence and strategic alignment to business OKRs, especially in an environment of research and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in engineering methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Agile, Scrum, JiraJIRA, Wrike).
- Experience in driving and coaching teams in advancing research & software development processes and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent executive-level communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey initiative status, updates, and risks to key stakeholders and leadership.
