What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Analyst position at BAMM USA?
Hybrid : 2-3 days onsite
Job Description :
- Great manual testing skills, eagerness to learn every requirement, will become an expert at the app.
- Do not want someone who has developer mindset just focused on getting tests to pass or test frameworks to run smoothly. They should be looking to break things, find bugs.
- Domain experience is preferrable.
- SOME automation abilities or room for growth here, but they need the QA mindset, not the developer mindset. Some developer-types write tons of tests, but they just focus on the ones that pass.
- Great documentation skills. Shouldn't write sloppy tickets or take shortcuts putting test results in the comment section.
- Follows-up to requests quickly, excellent communication.
- Very productive, ideally can take on a lot of tickets.
- Can use tools to expedite their productivity. Can use the command line.
- Is flexible and can work on multiple projects responsibly.
- Proficient, yet able to grow over time with skills.
- Proactive, is never idle, do not have to worry about being able to reach them at end of day. Does not log off early or frequently skip meetings.
