Safety Officer - Onsite Denton, Texas
Must have active OSHA 500 & OSHA 30
Key job responsibilities:
- Daily interactions with our customers delivering health and safety leadership and guidance
- Implement health and safety standards, policies and practices including, but not limited to; safety management systems, training, risk assessments, and applicable safety regulations
- Assist with industrial hygiene and ergonomics assessments.
- Conduct health and safety audits of data centers sites to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements as well as life safety requirements
- Ensure compliance and implementation of global health and safety programs that exceed regulatory requirements.
- Develop health and safety plans for on-site emergencies, business continuity, and other unique events.
- Identify risks and partner with Operations to permanently mitigate them via the hierarchy of controls.
Must Haves:
- OSHA 30 Certified
- Osha 500
- Electrical Training
- Working knowledge of Safety standards and experience providing safety guidance for those working on low to medium voltage electrical systems
