We're seeking an experienced AI Agent Expert to join our innovative team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and optimize autonomous AI systems that can understand context, reason effectively, and take appropriate actions to achieve specified goals. Please note that this is an unpaid opportunity focused on gaining experience and contributing to cutting-edge AI agent development.

• Design and implement AI agent architectures that balance autonomy with reliability
• Develop frameworks for agent reasoning, planning, and decision-making capabilities
• Create effective prompt engineering strategies for large language model guidance
• Implement mechanisms for agent memory, reflection, and self-improvement
• Develop evaluation methodologies to measure agent performance and safety
• Implement MCPs (Modular Cognitive Programs) to enhance agent reasoning capabilities
• Design and integrate database solutions for persistent agent memory and knowledge
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate agent capabilities into products

Our team places special emphasis on:

• Modular Cognitive Programs (MCPs) - Breaking down complex reasoning into specialized modules that enhance agent reliability, adaptability, and performance. Your expertise in MCP architecture will help create agents with more sophisticated reasoning capabilities.
• Database Integration - Developing agents with persistent memory, factual grounding, and data-driven decision making. Your work will connect agents to structured knowledge sources that reduce hallucinations, enable personalization, and allow for multi-agent coordination.

• Experience with AI systems, preferably in agent development
• Understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their capabilities/limitations
• Experience with prompt engineering and LLM orchestration
• Programming knowledge in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks
• Familiarity with database systems and knowledge retrieval methods
• Understanding of AI safety, alignment, and ethical considerations
• Experience with tools like LangChain, AutoGPT, or similar agent frameworks
• Background in cognitive science, human-computer interaction, or related fields
