Manager Small Store

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in retail management, particularly within a grocery store or similar environment. This role is crucial for driving sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining an efficient and productive store atmosphere.

Duties

• Lead and manage all store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
• Implement effective sales strategies to achieve store targets and enhance profitability.
• Oversee daily store activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture.
• Manage inventory levels, pricing strategies, and merchandising to optimize sales opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment for customers and employees.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with excellent phone etiquette.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or store management, preferably in a grocery store setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in retail sales with a focus on achieving results.
• Knowledge of shift management practices to ensure smooth operations during all hours of service.
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies and inventory control processes
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
