Job Summary:
Eau Claire based property management/real estate company is currently seeking a part-time Receptionist/Office Assistant. This position will be responsible for reception and administrative duties in support of Banbury Place and Cigan Properties. The right candidate will be a people person, will be proactive, an excellent multi-tasker, and will have exceptional customer service and computer skills.
Job Type: Part-Time M-F (10:00am-4:00pm) 30 Hours/week; offer competitive wages based on qualifications and experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Answer phones and greet visitors
· Schedule appointments and maintain conference room calendars
· Schedule and manage maintenance requests
· Manage social media accounts and other forms of advertising
· Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
· Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping
· Meets with potential tenants and may show vacant apartments and extended stay suites
· Prepares written materials including leases, renewals, letters and notices, emails and invoices
· Establishes and maintains databases, property management software and materials as needed for day to day communications
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
· Patience and listening skills to respond appropriate and interact positively with tenants and vendors
· Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
· Able to work independently and produce quality work in a timely manner
· Interest in marketing and the use of various social media platforms
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Must be reliable, organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in office administration or related field preferred
· At least two years of administrative and clerical experience required
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
