Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Survey CAD Technician to join our dedicated team in Oklahoma. This position involves integrating with a crew to contribute to project layout and control. The ideal candidate must be adept at multitasking, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and exhibit a high degree of teamwork capabilities. Strong attention to detail, excellent oral and written skills, and effective interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and execute project layouts, process field crew survey data, and manage project graphics, including printing and plotting distribution.
- Actively participate in the design process from project initiation to approval stages.
- Conduct project site visits as needed to clarify/verify survey data or assist field staff.
- Revise and/or modify drawings as necessary to meet project specifications.
- Collaborate with the team on various tasks and perform other assigned duties.
- Work collaboratively in a team setting with a strong work ethic and a self-starting attitude.
Qualifications:
- Civil 3D experience required.
- OpenRoads experience preferred.
- DOT experience is preferred.
- Survey experience preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
- Basic understanding of surveying techniques, hardware, and software equipment.
- Ability to read and comprehend project plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
