What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Team Member position at BandD Foods?
This is an overnight position from 10 : 00PM-6 : 00AM
Our Sanitation Team Member is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and inspecting the facility, equipment, tools, and utensils prior to starting production.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Responsible for getting the plant ready for pre-operational inspection by USDA and QA
- Required to follow direction / orders provided to them by lead
- Responsible to clean assigned machines and notify lead and / or maintenance of any changes in operation or needed repair
- All new employees will be trained by a veteran employee in the proper use of chemicals and protective personal equipment (PPE)
- Able to lift 25 pounds continuously through-out the shift
- Know and follow all departmental GMP and SOP's
- Some overtime required
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Desired Background / Experience :
Good communication skills, detail orientated, and a team player with a positive attitude.
Previous food manufacturing experience preferred. Sanitation experience a plus.
Bilingual or Multilingual preferred.
