Our IT team is looking for an IT (Help Desk) Technician
The IT Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and network systems. The IT Technician also monitors and optimizes system performance, ensures the security and compliance of IT systems, and coordinates with vendors and service providers for technical support and equipment procurement.
Essential Job Duties
- The individual in this role troubleshoots and resolves technical issues, installs and configures new systems and devices, and maintains documentation of IT infrastructure and procedures
- Maintain Help Desk Ticket system to ensure prompt technical resolutions
- Perform data migration and data management tasks
- Provide technical support to users including training and guidance on technical issues
- Create new user accounts and setup permissions in Active Directory
- Manage and administer user accounts and permissions by providing on-call support for technical issues
- Conduct technical research and stay up to date on industry developments and best practices
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and hardware
- Assist with any IT related issue when needed

Qualifications and Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate degree preferred
- Comptia A preferred, Comptia Network certified preferred
Experience
- 6 months experience in an equivalent position
Additional Requirements
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and clear driving record
- Must pass background and drug screening
