Job Overview:
Bandera Veterinary Clinic is growing! We are looking to add a great customer service representative to our team in our newly renovated clinic. Our front desk staff is the "face" of our practice and make a lasting impression on our clients. The perfect candidate is outgoing, friendly, detail oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Good computer and phone skills are non-negotiable. Customer service/reception experience is a PLUS, but we are willing to train the right motivated person. BVC is a mixed animal veterinary hospital servicing Bandera and surrounding communities.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet clients and visitors with a smile and friendly attitude
- Answer phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments for veterinary services and follow-up visits
- Process payments, end of day financial reconciliation and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate client/patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as email correspondence, data entry, and inventory management
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Necessary Skills:
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in basic office software applications
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
