Position Summary:
The Executive Director leads the Chamber of Commerce, overseeing all operations, strategic initiatives, and community relations. This role manages day-to-day activities, advises the board on policy and budget matters, and represents the Chamber to stakeholders and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the Chamber's strategic plan, advising the board on public policy and budget priorities.
- Representation & Advocacy: Act as the Chamber’s liaison on various committees and policy groups; advocate for Chamber members' interests with local, state, and national stakeholders.
- Operations & Financial Management: Oversee financial, operational, and administrative activities; manage the Chamber's budget and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Membership Development: Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement of Chamber members; oversee membership campaigns and events.
- Marketing & Communications: Coordinate city promotions and marketing efforts, manage TOT funds, and oversee the Chamber’s communications, including the monthly e-newsletter.
- Grant Writing & Fundraising: Identify and pursue grant opportunities, write proposals, and manage grant projects and reporting; develop fundraising strategies to secure additional revenue.
- Human Resources: Lead hiring, development, and performance management of staff; ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate records.
- Community & Business Engagement: Foster collaboration with local governments, businesses, and community organizations to promote economic development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a non-profit or membership-driven organization.
- Proven experience in public policy, economic development, marketing, communications, and grant writing.
- Strong financial management, strategic planning, and organizational skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
