Overview
We are seeking a Lead Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences through their engagement. You would also work on coaching less experienced staff, helping them grow and develop. This position has opportunities to move up quickly, but we would also be happy with someone that is still mastering this role. This is a working role, and you will be bartending and interacting with customers regularly.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Process payments using Toast POS system
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or food service preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and bartending
- Familiarity with retail math for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience in a high volume bar, is appreciated
- Passion for the food industry and willingness to learn new skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $17.85 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
