Job Summary
The Expeditor plays a crucial role in the restaurant environment, acting as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. This position is responsible for ensuring that orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly to customers, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Duties

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food orders.
• Verify that all orders are complete and meet quality standards before serving.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen personnel to manage order flow.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas.
• Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Help train new staff on food handling procedures and restaurant protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or special requests from guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with culinary terms and kitchen operations is beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• A background in hospitality or culinary arts can enhance your candidacy.
