We are currently hiring a CYBER EXERCISES SPECIALIST to support the modernization efforts of a federal agency.

Position Location:
This position offers hybrid work options. Our office is in Fredericksburg, VA right next to the Fredericksburg (FBG) Amtrak/VRE station.
Position Description:
Responsible for planning, designing, and conducting exercises via a cyber range to train management and/or technical staff on emerging threats. During each exercise, develops and delivers comprehensive exercise scenarios related to various IT systems, tools, and industry best practices through a series of exercise injects. Conducts industry research to provide recommendations with the necessary skills and knowledge and the Judiciary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Identify potential cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack scenarios relevant to the organization's environment and risk profile
· Develop detailed plans and objectives for cybersecurity exercises, outlining the goals, scope, participants, and timeline for each exercise
· Assist with the execution and facilitation of cybersecurity exercises, guiding participants through simulated cyber-attack scenarios and response activities
· Observe and evaluate participants' performance during cybersecurity exercises, assessing their readiness, effectiveness, and adherence to established policies, procedures, and best practices
· Conduct post-exercise analysis and debriefing sessions to review exercise outcomes, identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement, and develop actionable recommendations for enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture
· Provide written recommendations on Government drafts of executive summaries and briefings
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
· 5 years of experience developing technical IT and cybersecurity presentation material
· 5 years of experience identifying cybersecurity training requirements and delivering relevant training to nontechnical audiences
· 3 years of experience of IT customer support
· 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Forms)
