What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an Application Security Intern to join the Information Security team for Summer 2025. In this role you will work with the Application Security (AppSec) team to drive security forward across all of Bandwidth’s applications. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity.
What You'll Do:
- Perform Penetration Testing against Bandwidth’s applications
- Participate in Security Reviews
- Re-test security vulnerabilities fixed by developers
- Learn about and use enterprise security tools
- Participate in responding to security incidents
What You Need:
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in a Cybersecurity related area or concentration
- Experience using BurpSuite (or other similar tools)
- Experience with GitHub
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Great communication skills
Bonus Points:
- Experience with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc…)
- Experience with other security tools
- Experience with Kali Linux
