What We Are Looking For:

We're looking for a Software Development Intern to join our team for Summer 2025 who is hungry for real-world experience on our Bandwidth Voice dev team. We're seeking somebody who loves building things, loves learning things, and who aspires to be a great engineer. Ideally, we'll find somebody who comes back to work with us full time upon graduation.

What You'll Do:

You’ll partner with a team of developers and a product owner to work on the applications supporting our global communications network to add new services and features to Bandwidth’s customers such as voice biometrics, secure payment solutions, and integrations with AI Bots. You’ll learn how we approach building the best possible products while getting a chance to try out the skills you’ve been studying.

What You Need:

If you’re our person, you probably look like this: 

• You are working towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or an equivalent course of study;


• You get excited when asked to try out technologies you are unfamiliar with; and


• You enjoy designing solutions and writing applications in a team environment.


• You have experience with java


• You have experience working with databases (SQL, mySQL etc.)

Bonus Points:

Wow, it’d be really great if also: 

• You work with new and exciting technologies in your spare time; 


• You have experience in developing products in an Agile development environment; 


• You are fluent in both Javascipt and TypeScript;


• You have a high-level understanding of the infrastructure used to run today’s modern applications.
