What We Are Looking For:
We’re looking for a Sr. UX Designer to impact Bandwidth’s UI by crafting exceptional user experiences for our customers by setting a high bar for usability, functionality, and visual appeal.
What You'll Do:
- Work closely with product owners to gather requirements, design, prototype, and iterate product features and workflows based on customer feedback
- Work closely with UI developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs aligned with the user experience vision
- Collaborate across a variety of domains within Bandwidth to build customer journeys marrying backend specifications with high-fidelity UX mockups
- Help maintain and enhance Bandwidth’s design system, ensuring consistency and quality across user interfaces
- Meet with organization leaders to set and understand business goals and technology
- Present concepts and design decisions to product owners, developers, and customers
What You Need:
- 6 years of UI/UX design experience working on large scale applications
- Experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization and leading design projects
- High level of proficiency with Figma, with a deep understanding of design principles and best practices
- Empathy to understand the perspective of both internal and external users
- A skilled designer who can also look at front end code and see how the designs work
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback from the team and external stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams, including product managers and engineers
Bonus Points:
- Experience contributing to or managing design systems for consistent product experiences
- Proven experience conducting user research, usability testing, and leveraging insights to inform design decisions
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices to create inclusive design solutions
- A background or previous experience in the telecom industry
