BSA FCB Due Diligence Coordinator
Banesco USA is seeking a BSA FCB Due Diligence Coordinator for our BSA Correspondent Banking business unit.
Primary Job Duties:
- Responsible for reviewing and approving Correspondent Banking and Foreign NBFIs KYCs at onboarding and through the relationship life cycle.
- Perform FCB relationship annual due diligence & risk reviews, including review of transactional activities.
- Review and assess the adequacy of FCB and Foreign NBFIs Anti-Money Laundering Programs, including assessment of the controls, procedures, model validations, and Sanctions Program.
- Assist in the onboarding process of new FCB and Foreign NBFI relationships.
- Participate in the annual on-site and remote visits for all FCBs and Foreign NBFIs.
- Maintain all FCB relationships documentation up to date.
- Maintain track of all FCB Action Plan follow-ups are result of Banesco USA assessment of the FCB relationship and ensure all internal/external audits matters are addresses on a timely manner.
- Participate and provide feedback to the BSA FCB Officer, BSA Deputy Officer of the FCB program.
Job Requirements:
- Education: High school degree requires with equivalent experience.
- Experience: Five (5) years of experience in the Banking industry preferably in the BSA/Compliance area.
- Advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
- Knowledge of BSA/AML standards and practices.
- Knowledge of CTR filing requirements.
- Intermediate knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and operational policies.
- Ability to work in a team environment ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ability to understand and comprehend instructions, procedures and policies ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Intermediate knowledge in bank’s operation activities, terminology and products and services.
