Client Service Specialist – Business & Professional

Banesco USA is seeking a Client Service Specialist – Business & Professional for our Aventura Banking Center.
Primary Job Duties
- Actively participates in the bank's sales process by assisting customers with product selection, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and contributing to overall sales goals.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of individualized sales processes within the banking center to optimize customer interactions and achieve sales targets.
- Engages in continuous learning and development opportunities focused on sales process optimization, product knowledge, and enhancing customer service skills.
- Must be able to identify referral opportunities for new and existing clients. Through the bank’s sales process, referrals will be made to the corresponding business units for sales goals achievement.
- Proactively identifies and pursues new business opportunities through cold-calling and other outreach initiatives to capture deposits, generate referrals, and contribute to the achievement of banking center sales goals.
- Responsible for working with the client service manager and team to onboard, develop, and grow new and existing client relationships.
- Responsible for opening new accounts, maintaining, and closing accounts, and ensuring that proper documentation is obtained from customers to follow the bank’s policies and procedures.
- Responsible for teller duties which may include, but not limited to, processing deposits/withdrawals, night deposit, ATM, loan repayments, cashier checks, etc. and balancing at the end of the day.
- This role processes transactions accurately and ensures required documents are presented and processed in compliance with the bank's policies and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring banking centers physical security functions are completed using dual control, including but not limited to, opening, and closing of the banking centers, securing cash vaults, etc.
- This role is responsible for completing and assisting the client service manager, on a timely basis, on all requests from BSA, including KYC, ECS, and RFI's.
- This position will provide support and coverage to other South Florida banking centers as needed.
- Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.
- Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
- Education: High School degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Three (3) or more years of experience in the Retail banking or cash handling field.
- Advanced computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read, and write both languages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- This role requires strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management, and prioritizing skills.
- Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
- Knowledge of selling and cross-selling techniques to provide customers with the bank’s products and services.
- Basic knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and banking center operational policies.
- This position requires the ability to understand and comprehend instructions, procedures, and policies, ensuring compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures.
